Joining the printing trade in the '80's, Stephen initially worked as a conventional photo-lithographer before moving into the areas of electronic page assembly and drum scanning. Stephen has lived and worked in the UK, South Africa and Germany, and today specialises in process optimisation and workflow engineering in the printing industry, using products from Kodak, InPress and NorthPlains.

KonradinHeckel| Assistant Prepress Manager
Rüdiger Brändle is Assistant Prepress Manager for KonradinHeckel (Konradin Publishing Group) in Germany. KonradinHeckel, a sheetfed and web offset printer, produces magazines, catalogues, registers and inserts. Ruediger started as typesetter in different printing companies in 1992. As Prepress workflow administrator he is working since 2003 with Kodak PRINERGY and Kodak InSite portal products.

Frank Dittmann founded the Merlin Group in 1985, he started out with a typesetting-studio. He was one of the first DTP service provider and constantly pushed for further development. Furthermore he expanded his company rapidly throughout the last decades.

For the last 28 years I have been working for Roularta, Belgium’s largest magazine editor. Graduated as an electronics engineer in 1986, I started with programming step and repeat machines. Little later, I moved to the film mounting department where at that time the digital revolution began. There I was responsible for impositioning (PREPS) and became a prepress workflow specialist. From 1999 onwards, I’ve rolled out the Creo workflows in Roularta.
René is a part of the European Professional Services Team working with MIS integrations, RBA automation, optimisation and multi-site configurations. René has over 25 years of experience and expertise in the prepress and printing industry, the last 10 years working with and administrating Kodak Prinergy.
Rob Meijer is a colour expert who is educated in graphical techniques, color management, photography and pre-press systems and has 39 years of experience at several graphical organizations in different positions.
In his current role as, Colourtalks ,Printing House Roelofs ,owner at Zeqer and Member at the board GUA| Kodak he focuses on introduction and application of new techniques/technologies such as Sirocolor.
Sirocolor stands for a reliable color management system from RGB concept to print. Siro Color allows color and structural steel and (photographic) images to reproduce faithfully in full color. It is used in the color printing of the latest FM screening technology Staccato Spotless 5|6|7.
